I think this is 44-84658. If so, I flew it a couple of times while it was owned by Trans-Florida. Then it went off to SE Asia somewhere; brought back by Stephen Johnson and ended up with the late John MacGuire. I think Darrell Skuritch did a rebuild on it after its return to the US. It was N851D when I was involved with it, but became N51TF.

Yes - this is an original TF-51D (44-84658) that later saw service in Nicaragua as GN-99 (delivery 20th February 1958) but soon returned (Sept. 1959) and then adopted registration N851D, being converted to the Cavalier two-seat demonstrator. It then got a new USAF serial [72-1535] and was sent to Indonesia for their TNI-AU as F-361. It was among those many recovered Indonesian airframes and was registered N51TF. Regards
