The Flying Undertaker, Snooks 5th' was P-51D 45-11381, c/n124-48134. It had restored from a wreck by Ritchie Rasmussen, of Edmonton, Alberta, and registered as C-GRLR. Previous to this, it was carried on the U.S. civil registry as N5471V. It was then owned by Mickey Rupp, who changed the registration to N151MR. It was sold again soon after to Ed and Connie Bowlin, who changed the paint scheme to represent Chuck Yeager's wartime mount, 'Glamorous Glen III.' It still carries these markings, and is registered N551CB, to Gary Honbarrier, of High Point, North Carolina.

This is Ed and Connie Bowlin's N551CB which had been restored by Ritchie Rasmussen and before it was painted as Chuck Yeager's Glamorous Glen III. (it might be regd. N151MR to Mickey Rupp at this stage)

I worked on Richies Mustang in Edmonton when I was just an apprentice.
I found two or three kill signs on the left of the fuselage just below the canopy where I was doing a repair.
Was Glamorous Glenn ever repaired or was it destroyed when it was repositioning for Chuck Yeager to fly ?
