Bill Eaton: Photo looks like North American's El Segundo (Los Angeles) plant in about 1944. Airplane was probably bought with war bonds by the good people of Richmond, Michigan.

| There is a very large picture of this Mustang hanging on the wall of the Richmond, Michigan Library. A few years ago I contacted them, but, was told the Mfg numbers were too hard to read. A new type of pixilation might might be required to read it. I suspect that it is a wall size print of the picture displayed on this site. | |
