History / Previous Identities:

built by Commenwealth Aircraft Corp. in Melbourne, Australia

1958: Grant Metals, NSW
1960: Peter Freason, VIC, on display as "Fleetwings"
1964: on loan to Australian Aircraft Restoration Group
1964: Dec - Richard Hourigan
1990: VH-JUC, Restoration to fly (in Tyab)
1993: March - co-owned by Dick Hourigan and Judy Pay
1998: 18 Dec - first flight from Tyab, pilot Darcy O'Connor.
1999: Jan - (repainted) The paint scheme represents the first P-51K (MK IVA) operated by 3 Squadron, RAAF in North Italy late November 1944. This was the scheme of the C.O's plane (Squadron Leader P.M.Nash).
