1970-74: (Ascher Ward) recovered from Universal Studios
Aircraft was completely restored at Aerosport in Chino.
1974: N44727 (Elmer Ward) named "Poontang" for a while
1975: new paint as "Man O War"
2007: still flying and looking very nice! They really take care of this bird.
2007: Passing of long time owner Elmer Ward. He added a great deal to P-51 restorations with his parts/resto business. He will be missed.
Ascher Ward and Elmer Ward are not related.
