Hi TJ, I haven't answered one of these for a long time, so thought I'd give you this one. It is 44-72035, which became N5411V with Whiteman Enterprises in 1963 to 1978. Then HK-2812P with H. Escobar of Bogata, Columbia until 1987. It changed to HK-2812X while kldowns there. Back to the USA as N5306M on a ferry permit, and then to Jacques Bourret in France as F-AZMU in 1989 and then to G-SIJJ with Peter Teichman in London in 2002.

This is the aircraft flown by Jacques Young during the war in the South Pacific. It was called "Jumpin Jacques". He gave me a photo of it. Jacques told me (in 1960's) that someone had painted their aircraft the same colors (years later)and Jacques saw the plane at an Oshkosh air show! The owner thought that Jacques was dead!I think Jaques told me the owner was an airline pilot. I wish I new the name. There is a picture of this aircraft at the Air Force Museum in Dayton,OH. It is a large photo showing two P-51's this is the plane in the rear.

Case #326 shows two different aircraft. Jacques Young's plane is the one at the bottom. I forgot to mention that the picture is for sale at the museum.
Case Closed!
