44-72826 N6344T Oshkosh 1970
This is a Canadian survivor, possible in the Canadian War Plane Heritage Ontario, Canada, at least until 1987. Reported in flyable condition. This is an early model listed as P51D-25na. Current identity is C-FBAU. Previous identity listed as RCAF9563. Second allocation listed as N6344T.
This was N6344T probably during the early 1970's when it was acquired by Max Ramsay of Johnson, KS. He had it painted as "Danny Boy" in about 1975. He owned this aircraft until approx. 1978 or 1979. Ibelieve it is currently with The Canadian Warplane Heritage Musuem as C-FBAU.
Bill Yoak knowes as much about a p-51 as Jim Reid does ......Scooter fly like your old man, he's a natural just like you son.
